This sensor mounts in the engine bay and detects when the hood is open or closed, feeding signal to the alarm and dash warning system. Removed from a 2005 G35 Coupe. The unit includes the rubber-booted plunger and bracket as pictured. Shows normal cosmetic wear, light surface rust, and dirt consistent with age. Connector and switch are intact with no broken tabs.
